This month is the 150th running of the Preakness Stakes and this issue contains several articles to commemorate that milestone: one on the Governor’s Preakness Festival; one on the Maryland Horse Industry Board’s Maryland Horse Farm Tour; one on the 2025 Pimlico Sunrise Tour Guides; and one containing our readers’s choices for “Who Is the Greatest Preakness Winner of All Time?”
This is also a busy time for the competition sector of our industry, as reflected in the large number of activities across the state on our May Calendar of Events.
