MHIB Seeks Input for Horse Industry Strategic Planning Initiative

On November 6, we reported in The Equiery that Governor Wes Moore had established the Horse Industry Strategic Planning Initiative and directed it “to develop a strategic plan to ensure a coordinated and sustainable future for Maryland’s horse industry.” The Initiative is staffed, lead, and administered by the Maryland Department of Agriculture through its Maryland Horse Industry Board (MHIB).

You can read our Nov. 6 announcement of the initiative on equiery.com

MHIB is looking for input for this initiative from across the equine community, and it has prepared a form for each of us to submit with “ideas and solutions for the future of the Maryland Horse Ecosystem.”

MHIB will use the information we each submit “to bring Maryland’s diverse horse ecosystem together to shape a unified and forward-looking strategic plan.”

Please fill out the form by clicking on the button below.
