TOPIC: Soil Health Field Workships - 9/14

Soil Health Field Workships - 9/14 4 years 2 months ago #236

This is a reminder and update for the two Soil Health Field Workshops for Agricultural Service Providers happening next week.

Update:

· The workshops have been approved for 3 MD Nutrient Management CEUs and 2 Pesticide Private Applicator CEUs each (CCA credits are still pending).

· The workshops will feature delicious local ice cream (see below).

These programs are designed to showcase farmers taking excellent care of their soil resource, and the innovative practices that are part of their toolboxes. In addition to a farm tour at each location, there will be a discussion on best outreach practices for Ag. Service Providers: how we can help farmers reach the decision point to do something differently to better their operation and our environment, just like the Ernsts and Paulks.

I hope to see you there!
